John Killen

John David Killen passed away in Altoona, Iowa on August 10, 2022. A graveside memorial will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Carlisle Township Cemetery in Carlisle. A celebration of life will follow at Sterling Pointe Clubhouse, located at 10509 Dorset Drive in Johnston.
John was born on June 5, 1981 in Des Moines, Iowa to David Killen and LaDonna Dombroski. John worked most of his life as a diesel mechanic. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and camping. He also could be found looking at trucks, listening to music and being the life of the party. John will always be the life.
He will be missed by his son, Joseph; daughter, Isabella; brothers, Ken and Brent; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, aunts, and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
