Twilla May Dillard Obituary (1945 - 2018)

Twilla May Dillard, 73, of Indianola, passed away at the Indianola Good Samaritan Society on August 6, 2018. Twilla was born March 9, 1945 in Leon Iowa to Shellie and Ethelene Scott. Twilla attended Tarkio College in Missouri. She was a member of the Caledonia Methodist Church. Twilla loved to read and loved to study genealogy, and was a member of the Warren County Iowa Genealogical Society. She put this passion in action by proudly organizing the Kellerton Iowa Centennial in 1981. Twilla is survived by her husband Bill Dillard of Indianola, and her daughter Heather Dillard of Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday, August 10, 2018 at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola. Visitation will be held from 9:30-11am prior to the service. Burial will take place at I.O.O.F Cemetery in Indianola. Memorials may be directed to the Fort Des Moines United Methodist Church. Online condolences can be made at www.petersonfuneralservice.com
