Fern Opal Neumann, daughter of Paul and Cecil McClintic., passed away December 9, 2013 in Southhaven, MS. Fern was a long time resident of Indianola; born June 5, 1920 in Indianola. She served as President of the Hawthorne PTA, was President of ABW president and belonged to the church circles, she was a life time member of the Rebekah Lodge and the VFW. She was a master cook, excellent seamstress, loved gardening, fishing and camping. She was a long standing member of the First Baptist Church, the center of her life and family. Indianola was always home to Fern Opal. \nShe is dearly loved and survived by her daughters, Anna Marie (Terry) Robe of Euless, Texas, Eleanor Pedersen of W. Des Moines, IA, Lorena Bowen of Lake Cormorant, Miss. and her sister Darlene Beaver of Manhattan Beach, Calif. She has a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Howard and son Paul.\n A Luncheon will follow at First Baptist Church \nMemorials can be given to The First Baptist Church, Indianola.
