"Mert" Lane Obituary (1930 - 2014)

Mercidese "Mert" Lane passed away Saturday March 1, 2014 at Taylor House with her son and granddaughter at her side. Mert was born February 16, 1930 to Henry and Marie Bos. She spent most of life in Runnells. Mert worked for and retired from Warren Frozen Foods of Altoona. She enjoyed camping, Bluegrass shows, and cooking for her family. Mert was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Marie Bos, husband Ralph Lane, son James R. Lane, two sisters and one brother. She is survived by her son Jerry (Lisa) Lane of Runnells, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 12pm to 2pm March 5, 2014 at the Runnells Christian Church followed by graveside services at Lowman's Cemetery.
