Marjean Ruth Bussanmas Obituary (1929 - 2018)

Marjean Bussanmas, 89, of St. Mary's, passed away at her home on August 30, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born August 22, 1929 in Herndon Kansas to Harry and Alice (Lippold) Barenberg. Marjean married Francis Bussanmas on August 4, 1953. She always put out a garden and loved canning. A favorite hobby of Marjean's was going to garage sales and auctions. Marjean is survived by her three daughters Deanna (John) Bahr of Indianola, Linda Bussanmas, and Thelma Bussanmas both of St. Mary's; two grandchildren, John A. Bahr (Heather), and Tammy White (Bryan); five great grandchildren, Tervor Bahr, Kelsey Bahr, Hailey Bahr, Jesse White, and Hunter White. She is also survived by her sister Cheryl Hicks of Idaho, and a brother John Sattler of Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Francis, brothers Kenneth Barenberg, Larry Barenberg, Cliff Sattler, and sister Rose Marie Petra. Mass for Marjean will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Mary's. A visitation will be held Tuesday September 4, at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola from 6-8 PM, with a rosary at 7PM. Interment will be held after mass at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
