M. Eakins Obituary (1920 - 2012)

Vera passed away Monday, October 22, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Beryl in 2004; daughter, Linda Davis; sister, Ruby Renfrew and brothers Verle and Orbie Brittian. Surviving are her children, Larry (Joan) Eakins, Betty (Duane) Chance, Charlotte (Ron) Brommel; son-in-law Robert Davis; 19 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 21 great- great grandchildren and 2 brothers Doyle and Eldon Brittian. Friends and Family are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. for her visitation. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Indianola.
