LeRoy Wayne Northway Obituary (1942 - 2018)

LeRoy Wayne Northway, 76, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2018 at his home in Lineville Iowa. LeRoy was born May 6, 1942 to Leonard and Edith Northway in Muskogee Oklahoma. He was a retired Union member of the Operators Union Local 234 in Des Moines, Iowa. In his free time he enjoyed being outdoors and enjoying time with family and friends. He also had a passion for raising hogs and cattle. He is survived by his son Michael Northway, daughters Kimberly Blake, Mystie Ren, sisters Ethel Harmison (Stanley), Irma Baker, Brothers Leonard (Linda) Northway, and Allen (Vicki) Northway. LeRoy is also survived by his grandchildren, Jasmine Northway, Sara Simmons, Jaycie Powers, and Kali Powers, as well as many nieces and nephews as well as longtime friend Marsha Griffith and sister in law Cheryl Northway. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother John Northway, and sisters Alice Morton, and Jeanette Morton. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11am at the Runnells Christian Church. A visitation will take place at 10am prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place at Powers-Warren Cemetery in Runnells.
