Brenda Lee Nellis Whitlatch, 55 years old, went home to be with her loved ones in heaven on January 2nd 2014. She was residing in Indianola, Iowa at the time. Brenda was born in Winterset, Iowa, December 15, `1958 to Lucille Nellis-Wrigley and Louie Adkins. She is survived by her father, Louie Adkins of Jamaica, Iowa; son. Vernon Nellis Sr. of Pattonsburg, MO.; her sister Sue Clark of Clarksdale, MO.; brother, Richard Welton of Charleston, MO.; grandchildren, Vernon Nellis Jr of St. Joseph, Mo., Deana Nellis of Grand River, IA.; nieces, a nephew and many more she called family.
