Elaine Houghton Obituary (1946 - 2013)

Laura Elaine Houghton, AKA Elaine, of Indianola, IA passed away on August 21, 2013 at the age of 66. Surviving family members include her husband of 46 years, Russell of Indianola; her children, Russell, Jesse, Jennifer and Keith of Indianola, Rachel and Aaron of Covington, Ga.; her grandchildren, Kelsey and Aurora of Indianola; her siblings, Roger and Elaine Rockwell of Puyallup, Wash., Kenneth Rockwell of Avondale, Ariz., Caroline Rockwell of Belmont, Calif., Steven and Fred Rockwell of Arkansas, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Elaine was a devout Christian known for her nearly constant smile and her love of children. She will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola at 3 p.m., with visitation with family beginning at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
