Ted A. Fehn Jr. age 86, passed away April 15, 2014 at the Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines, Iowa. Ted worked most of his life at Meredith Publishing, retiring in 1991. During his working years he became very involved in the labor union and continued to after his retirement. He was inducted into the Labor Hall of Fame in 2012. The John L. Lewis Museum in Lucas was a source of great pride for Ted. Mr. Fehn was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Virginia, a son, 2 sisters and his parents. Left to celebrate his life are his twin sisters, Darlene Antione and Doris Plumm; sister-in-law Shirley Seamans; brother and sister-in-law Donnie and Joan Goodeyon. Ted was a long time member of the International Machinists and Aerospace Workers Union #254. Funeral Services for Ted will be held at First Assembly of God Church in Indianola, Iowa on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. A Family and Friends Luncheon will follow at the church. A visitation Peterson funeral home in Indianola, Iowa will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014. Ted's final resting place will be in Beloit Kansas with his wife and son. A memorial has been established for the John L Lewis Museum in Lucas.
