Cory Dean Shinn Obituary (1971 - 2018)

Cory Dean Shinn of Carlisle passed away June 14, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. A memorial celebration will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at North Park in Carlisle. Cory was born on November 18, 1971 in Des Moines, Iowa to Donald and Betty (Dukes) Shinn. Cory worked at Bridgestone/Firestone in Des Moines. He loved to cook and use his smoker, do crossword puzzles and ride his Harley. Cory is survived by his wife, Gerilyn Shinn of Carlisle; step daughter, Shaye Watermeulen of West Des Moines; and son, Aiden Shinn of Carlisle.
